Hi!
I never played on your server before, yet I receive a message that I've "been kicked off for TK".
I cannot make an Unban request, as it says that neither my username (same as here) nor PID (taken from URL of bf2hub ) are banned.
As it's one of the more popular alive servers for BF2 I'd like to join in.

Expected a retarded reply from you in specific cozying up to the admins as usual. But whatever, what do u want me to do then? They give 7 days for players to reply to any questions asked in the unban requests. If the players do not respond within 7 days, the request is "rejected by default". But the admins can go on for months on end without giving any definitive reply and the players are just supposed to hope that a response will be given someday? And as everyone knows, the unban requests are not public; so, there's no accountability on their part. And here we are, I am still banned from the server after a whole month for who knows what. |

First off,It was just some friendly advice...
cozying up? lol...so sticking to the server rules is cozying up.... HA! you're a bigger bellend than I first thought.Let's hope they ignore you indefinitely...
And as for your lame ass argument concerning the 7 days...the admin are not the retards that are banned so they have every right to take their time...you don't like it,don't break the server rules ! simple logic.

What if I got banned for something entirely out of my control and never actually broke any rule, am I still a retard then? Please quit with the prejudice mate.
The frustration is fairly reasonable when you go for months on end with no word whatsoever as to why you are even banned. At least in my case I know why I am banned, shame it's for something I didn't do.

if it was entirely out of your control and you never broke the rules then you wouldn't be banned and they'd have no evidence to ban you.They don't just ban willy nilly for no reason.You have to provide proof or it didn't happen. |

People are either banned because they did something bad themselves and/or using a shared and therefore most likely banned cdkey from the web.
There are still ppl out there thinking they can use any CD key without implications. It has been mentioned numerous times here that this isn't the case!

I'm banned for being name spoofed, how in the world is this my fault? There is literally no way for me to prevent somebody from spoofing my name. My cd-key is private and always has been. I'm using the same bloody cd-key from my retail copy that I bought back in 2005-2006.
How exactly do I prove that the shitters that aimbotted while spoofing my name on your server wasn't me? He clearly wasn't using the same cd-key since there is no way in hell they could ever find out what it is.

This thread us merely kept open for people that are not on the banlist and therefore cannot use the urban request. People tend to use it for asking for unbans as they only see the title and post their inquiry here rather than creating a new thread and then seeing the forum thread creation terms.
If a ban isn't removed yet, then there's a reason for it - and it doesn't necessarily have to do with guilt or innocence.
Hope for the best, prepare for the worst. |

Hi I havent played on the server for awhile and when I tried playing the other day it said CD Key not valid. I changed my CD Key and it kept happening. I reverted back to my original CD Key and that error stopped but im now kicked every time I join. My username is OfficerProperty

The affected player - although more rights granted to get to know about his ban - wasn't apparently told and you expect me to answer this to someone uninvolved and in public?

I wasn't talking about him in specific.
Just couldn't understand, especially in the case of innocent players, why you would withhold the ban reasons (assuming you had them) from the respective banned players. And that includes me.
My main issue here is that the admins neither reveal the reason as to why I am banned nor give an estimate of when the ban will be solved. There's just no communication whatsoever. And that's after a month of constantly requesting a response in my unban request and sending pm's to admins in hopes of getting their attention. So, from my point of view, my unban request is just being ignored. Plain and simple.
And looks like this same policy also applies in the case of WhenAndHow. But atleast, like he has said before, he knows what caused his ban.
But, speaking of WhenAndHow, I seriously doubt you would need to take like what? 4 months now? to solve an unban request of an innocent player because of some mysterious reason you wouldn't even reveal to him.
So, I am just hoping I'd get a reply in my unban request as to why I am banned. If it's a mistake on my part, I'll try my best not to repeat it and I hope you'll be kind enough to unban me if that's the case. I also hope that the ban of WhenAndHow, a legit player who respects the server's rules , is solved in the near future and that he'll be able to play in 2f4y again.

To be honest, how can someone get a non-shared CD-key nowadays? The game isn't sold officially anymore, and if I'd go for further used copies there's a chance I get one that's going to collide. |

About unbans:
1) We cannot explain all of our motivations without disclosing secret internals.
2) In some rare cases, admins need to discuss the further process and negotiate which takes time - yes, a lot of time nowadays.
3) We don't give estimations as people want to rely on those estimations which make said estimations fixed dates and times.
Therefore: if we have date and time of an unban, people are being told about it.
And no - I don't expect you guys to understand this.
