Oh yeah I couldn't figure out how to edit my post, and right after I posted my post, I launched the game and it surprisingly worked... |

I have several accounts saved on my PC. Do I have to log into each one of them for BF2Hub to save my stats, or will logging into one of them be enough? |

From now on you can also backup your Battlefield2 accounts/CD-keys via the BF2Hub Webclient directly online:
https://www.bf2hub.com/home/webclient.php
This is espacially useful if you dont have installed your game or a specific account on your system and also if you want backup multiple CD-keys.
If you click on the blue "question mark > (?) < icons" beside the headlines you will find detailed infos how all that stuff works.

First of all i want to thank you for doing this. It's a great game and we should preserve it.
But i have a question. I have succesfully backup-ed my account. So let's say i delete BF2 and reinstall it after a couple of months. Will i be able to retrieve the account in the same way as before, that is, starting the game and clicking retrieve account? Or will there be some other procedure?

Yes - given that you are running BF2Hub at that moment.

bf2-hub and ReviveBF2 working (global) together now? or ppl need more than bf2 hub to play ranked on --ALL-- servers like before?

To play BF2 on 2F4Y you need the > BF2Hub Client <.
Thats the only thing you should care for the moment. Do not change your game, do not download any other stuff that may changes your game! Just download and install the BF2Hub Client, lean back and relax 
Optionally you may backup important stuff via the BF2Hub Webclient:

Everything else will be discussed when GameSpy is closed.

I have backed up my accounts and CD-key. Two questions:
1. I backed up almost all my accounts, but there's one for which I can't remember the password. Is that lost forever?
2. Do I have to re-run the backup this to keep my saved stats up to date? |

notice: I have to close the BF2Hub.exe process - then I start again with admin rights and the update was successfull!
(Error Message before: Could not excute - or something like that)

We have already launched a "2F4Y.com - Best Maps No Rules" Testserver within the BF2Hub Network. If you are interested how all that stuff works or if you wanna see your unlocks and ranks within the BF2Hub Network, you can do this already now because you can switch the Network at any time with a simple click on the "Enable/Disable BF2Hub Network"!
means you can choose "enable bf2hub network" for testing purposes, but you should "disable bf2hub network" aslong gamespy is still up and running. after gamespy is down, you must choose "enable bf2hub network" to play the game further.

I played some hours ago, and now, i´m trying to connect again, and i can´t.
Some date error appears.

We dont know if this is the final shutdown but yes, GameSpy is down atm!
The GameServers still have connection to the GameSpy backend, so they are still up. Only the GameClient (your BF2 game) cant login.
Solution (just for the moment):
1. Close your BF2 (game client)
2. Open your BF2Hub Client
3. Click "Enable BF2Hub Network"
4. Start your BF2 (game client) and have fun.
Keep in mind that this solution is temporary. Maybe the Servers will also loose the connection to the GameSpy backend in the next hours.

Keep in mind that this solution is temporary. Maybe the Servers will also loose the connection to the GameSpy backend in the next hours.
So that would mean we can only play on 2F4Y.com if that happens? As there's no revivebf2.com download accessible yet.
A few weeks ago I read something about a collaboration between BF2hub and revivebf2.com, would that mean that in the future we could play on your server by using the revivebf2.com launcher too, or what could we expect from this collaboration?
Just curious.
