Hello dear administration of 2F4Y!
I guess it's not the news that 2F4Y is being attacked by some cheaters lately. I understand that it's not possible to control them everyday and to respond instantly on report violation... but maybe it's time to expand the admins state of the server?
The more admins are on the server - the more chances hackers will be catched instantly. There are lot of reliable members of 2F4Y which play on the server like every day and can take action in blocking these assholes.
Think I'm not the one who would be happy if server stopped crashing because of them and piece, harmony and fun could fill 2F4Y again
Hope you won't ignore this thread...
Best regards,

In-game admins would not be able to do anything about them crashing the server/clients, though.
I would expect to see more crashes if admins were online to ban the cheaters as they appear.
Until the engine exploit the crash script(s) uses is fixed, not much can be done. Shouldn't be too hard to fix the exploit(s) in question, assuming someone with firewall access and the time to log and go through packets during attacks, is present.
In any case, not all of the cheaters are capable of crashing the server and it's clients, so more active admins is still a step in the right direction. |

I completely agree with SkyDistress. Giving admin rights to a group of trusted players would be a good solution to catch the most obvious cheaters (like the ones ruining gameplay for some time this evening). The sooner they're removed, the better. |

At least in-game admins can disconnect or ban hackers as soon as they figure them out. I'm not talking about crashing servers assholes only, but there are a lot of cases when somebody uses AIM. Usually it takes not much time to find out who use some shit atm. |

Still reporting players with demofiles is best way to get rid of cheaters. Not saying that recruiting more active in-game admins is a bad idea, but many things aren't as simple as they may seem (as usual). |

Sure, I'm not talking about making everybody an admin. But some active players close to administration may be useful as an admins for the server stability. Just think about it |
