Middle of the round switching players is stupiD, randomizing teams is most definitely the right answer. |

For my part I never see player switched to balance game, only server restarts.
I will be usefull because half of the time the server is a lot unbalanced. |

Hello everybody. one option is to disable auto-balance for a separate group of regular server players (a dedicated prefix). Together with it to oblige them to change a command at a difference over 100. It is ready to be entered
also the activation of a friendly fire will reduce the preponderance of aviation that brings down indiscriminately

There is no perfect solution that fits `em all, i know.
But getting switched as a squadmember 6 times in 5 rounds in a row is blatantly stupid. Friday evening/night I couldn't play a single round without getting swapped. Once or twice an evening, no harm. But every single round is no fun at all.

You're posting this on 23.04 but as i said above the default (autobalance) switching of squad members is disabled since 22.04. the only reason for the switch i can imagine is that you was idle for too long and the server balanced AFK players to have the same amount of AFK (idle) players in each team. if you are AFK you are not of any use for your team...
Anyway, all this crap is pissing me off. If we make a better team balance people start whining about the required switches and if we allow smarter teamplay people start whining about stacked teams.
You know what, i give a shit about it from now... |

Switching players when you have one or two flags, and getting simultaneously attacked by a jet, two choppers, a tank an APC and 5 infantry are...useless. Funny thing though, i rarely see top tier players getting switched. Couple this with the community's taste for spawncamping, padraping, and last but not least: the total and absolute lack of actual teamwork makes switching in its present form USELESS. As long as you wont switch the usual killstackers first, it makes no sense whatsoever. Either do the team balance thingy right, or leave it as is, and then i for one will have a smoke in peace, and just wait for the next round instead of getting fucked up again and again.
OR, lets try this: as for me, i am willing to switch to the WEAKER team when it goes down, or at least refrain from attacking an already battered team...lets see how many join me, and try to find pleasure from actual hard fighting instead of easy mindless killing  |
