Under Helicopter player input controls. The ones in bold i have edited. First time I only tried to edit the first line but it didn't work, so i tried to edit the second one too, but with same result. My rockets (when you are the pilot) do work with long press left-click though. I don't remember how I made it work before with the tv, any help would be appreciated, thanks
Oh no it's not like that, just asking.
This is interesting though. I tried it out and it's quite a double edged sword. It'd be good for high ping players, and for other it can allow great sclae of use for the TV, The one problem is that it's very easy to overshoot/coverclick. As Hakei mentioned it's lke 300 clicks per second or so.
If you want to shoot down planes with tv-missile, it makes life easier. I'm too lazy to click spam so I've got it. Also in 2v2 without it you will suffer because you need to curve missiles a lot.
Well I have these lines myself in controls.con under ControlMap.Create defaultGameControlMap.
PS. 334 is for noobs, try 338
There's a problem with this... Because its in the defaultGameCOntrolMap section, this macro applies to the Spawn/Squad screen too. This isn't too much of a problem, but when you get to selecting unlock weapons, you will most likely not be able to select your desired weapon of a certain class because it will registe x number of clicks and just speed through the unlocks of that class. This might not be much of a problem though.
For me atleast, the macro for the tv missile will not work unless I change these settings mentioned in your post. Does anyone else have a similar problem?
Why not? It's allowed to be used on this server by head admin and if people want to use it it's their choice to do so or refrain from it. What some people "think or want" other people of doing is irrelevant. What was accepted in 2005-2015 is not what is relevant to current times.
Macros have been widely acceptable to use in most servers since the beginning of time, as there hasn't been any good way of enforcing them to be banned.
The biggest advantages of using macros would be:
1. Not having to buy a new mouse every year from clicking it to death. 2. Somewhat enhanced TV missile performance, they won't make you a top tier gunner by a long shot. You still need skill, gamesense and practice.
Note: The TV missile is only a part of heli gunning, skilled pilots won't fly with you if you can't use the machine gun properly (even if you can curve your missile like a god), as in most cases that's where the majority of kills are coming from. TVs in public servers are more of a defensive tool, that allows your pilot to get into effective machine gun range, in order to farm kills. (Although in certain scenarios, depending on the enemy team and the current map, this will not be the case)
A common misconception about tv missile autoclickers in general is that you cannot achieve anywhere close to the same curve amount without autoclickers. Which is far from the truth. If you've clicked with tv for a while you can get pretty close actually.
Anyway this debate has been had many times. And it's a waste of time to do it again. So unless Clubradio states otherwise, I would say you're safe to assume they're not against the rules.
If you don't want to use macros out of personal preference, good for you, you can take pride in the fact that you don't use them.

Ya2 even IF you decided to tryout the mac, you'd still be complete trash. But talking to you is like talking to a wall. LALALALLAA, it's all cheats, LAALA. Hell, EVERYTHING to you is a cheat - even something as trivial as modified localization files ... like, lmao.
It's PUBLICLY available to EVERYONE, free to use legally - it's fair. Your choice to "buuhuu cheats this, cheats that" is your own problem.

Yepp i have reliable sources that jebus used macros when he walked on the water.
Lets be honest: almost everyone who "modify" something seems to have a clear advantage compared to the others.
Call me old fashioned but i like to play against people "mano a mano" - meaning: everyones on the same page technically - no modified fancy Bs whatsoever.
