Anyone else having BF2 load issues recently. Mine now works until the enter game button then quits completely. Started one or two weeks ago. New windows patch doesn't fix it. It does work once in a while for a round or two. Then quits.
Worked fine for 9 months on this computer.
Tried fresh install. Nada. Fresh windows install to original, nada....

Check your sound inputs. There is an issue with BF2 loading and them if you have multiple ones. |

For the Canadians amongst us, turns out it was a faulty windows update. took a final restore of windows from Microsoft to get an update that didn't screw the pooch.
seems it messed nvidea drivers. 4 weeks of hell. |

After one of the updates on 23H2, which fucked up the scheduler, and because of this I had to restore from a backup, I disabled them using software like wumgr and choose what to install manually. Well. Make backups before installing some updates 🤷r05;a94;a039;
