I have reported this guy on various occasions, on all maps he sits along way from bases in tank, firing in the air making kills using aimbot (I expect).
Nothing is done - he ruins the games.... admin?
In Wake island he drives the tank in the sea (how do you do that?? I always die near water) and once again aims towards the base (impossible to see that far) and makes kills nearly every shot

It's called a pixelshot, and you can drive vehicles in shallow water, that said, it is very likely true that he's cheating to accomplish what he's doing. I have personally never seen someone cheat like that before however, and I suspect not many other people have either, so it will be exceedingly difficult to prove that he's cheating in order to get him banned.
I am of the opinion that he must stream his game in order to play, since I agree that what he's doing is very destructive. Maybe if enough people feel the same way, something can be done about it.
I have also observed other suspicious behaviors from him, not just the tank pixelshots. But from what I've seen so far in demos there has been nothing I would consider conclusive evidence sadly.
The biggest reason I think he's most likely cheating is because he is a player of an extremely low level, but somehow he can do what even the best players in the game cannot do, and I've heard a few people say something along the lines of "but he has practiced it in single player and done it for hundreds of hours in 2f4y" and to those people I say, feel free to try it yourself. Those pixel shots require absolutely INSANE precision from as far away as he's doing it. And he casually sets it up almost instantly, and keeps hitting seemingly the exact same spot every time. Personally I think, that by itself is something that is virtually impossible to accomplish legitimately. But I admit I can't know for sure since I don't play like that. Hence why he should be forced to stream.

I know that you can in shallow water, but he was right in the middle of the sea in Wake Island map.... firing in the air each shot, no way you can see the other teams base. |

Not sure, when you are miles away from the hill which protect the USS Essex, I don't see how you fire over the hill and the shell comes down to hit jets etc - the ship is too close to the hill. Even on other maps, he is far far away from bases and making kills every shot - impossible to 'work out direction' |

'just' there is nothing just about what he's doing, the shots he takes are INSANELY difficult to do and incase it wasn't clear I really want to empathize just how insanely difficult it is.
1. If your aim is even off by a single pixel on any of these shots, the tank shell will very likely completely miss the target
2. If the tank moves even just slightly wrong to the left or the right you need to aim at a different pixel, how can you even know if your tank is perfectly positioned, this is what I really struggle to understand
3. He has MULTIPLE spots on a lot of the maps, that he just casually sets up effortlessly, on Clean Sweep for example I've observed like 4 different spots he shoots the MEC heli from. On Gulf I've seen 2 or 3 different spots he shoots the jets from, on wake I've seen 3-4 different spots he shoots the jets from.
As far as I am aware his machine gun bullets aren't hitting shit, the tank shell is the only damage he is dealing. For starters the shell has a completely different 'bullet drop' than the machine gun bullets. So in order to hit the same target with both you would have to aim completely differently.
There are only two methods I can personally think of how to even get close to the same results as he does, and that's by first and foremost PERFECTLY placing the marker in the same spot every time. Then take the tank to the SAME distance every time. And finally learn the exact pixel of the marker to aim at, and of course as willy stated, correct the tanks positioning after each shot, as the recoil from the shell moves the tank. Using this method I too can hit, but not nearly as consistently as he does, and setting it up takes me much longer as well.
With these things in mind, you could setup a macro to do these things for you rather effortlessly. If you have a macro shooting and moving the tank each time, you can achieve virtually the same result every shot. And of course placing the marker in the same exact spot every time would also be trivial to automate.
And the second method I theorized is simply just aimbot, but instead of aiming at enemies it aims at preset map coordinates. Personally I'm leaning towards the aimbot theory in his case, as it would also explain some of the other suspicious behavior I've observed from him.

Well the only way to prove it is for admin to ban him and if he wants unbanned he needs to provide a clip of his antics. |

Just some 'weird' kills with AA vehicle/eryx/tank/cars, but like I said in the post above, nothing really noteworthy, just surprising to see from him.

The game is so old that it's not surprising to have fixed points on the map. Dalyan, wake island and other maps. Surprised looks when a tank destroys a plane on a ship with a shot from the coast... It's not always a cheater. |

I tend to lean away from the aimbot theory because he has very specific spots that he fires from on each map. If he was using an aimbot, he'd only need a clear trajectory, so wouldn't need to go to the same location each time.
Lining up landmarks (e.g. tree branches) with pixels in the skybox from a known position would be a fairly quick and repeatable way of getting the correct trajectories, and wouldn't require the use of squad markers (which I don't think he uses). |

He has a chance to record and upload his game play to show how he's doing it. It's possible to do these shots don't get me wrong but doing to consistently at 90% hit rate and above? I don't think so. Especially considering who's doing it. This is the same individual that bails from jets on round start on enemy jet spawns to drop claymores. Something else might be used to give him an edge.
I've tried it offline by hitting stationary vehicles on different maps, with commander mode, at most it works 3 out 10 times and less.
I used different resolution settings because most likely than not he's playing with old hardware. I even tried different overlay crosshairs to get a feel for pixels but it's all the same. Tank shots are simply inconsistent in their hit rate. Tank moves with every shot, adjusting every shot every time on every pixel simply doesn't give that level of hit consistency.
Anyone can try doing this by simply starting an offline server with a map like Wake Island on commander mode and test this out. Maybe there is something else I haven't thought of but I doubt it. He has the opportunity to do this and record his shots. Different maps with at least 90% hit rate on vehicles. If he's able to accomplish this color me surprised.
