Hello all,
For training purposes I have created a unique Joystick OVERLAY as shown on the screenshot that tracks the movements of the logitech 3d pro joystick in real time and sits on top of the battefield 2 screen "bottom left".

a new bigger overlay was built v1.1 it has a feature to either use the smaller overlay or bigger

its for training, so that any person can see the joystick movement as well as the result of the planes movements. There is a real gap in learning the correct rudder and basic dogfighting maneuvers. Specially when we are all scattered around the world |

Being able to see your own inputs on the screen would not be an effective way to improve at all, what matters is muscle memory, to make the jet do exactly what you want to do without thought, which just requires practice & time to improve. Infact having more clutter on the screen would likely be counter productive towards the goal of learning.
With that said, the logitech 3d pro is notoriously prone to breaking in many different ways so an overlay might be useful for troubleshooting if something feels off.
