18.09.24 / 20:13 In this case I might not even seen anything in the map, just shooting car and tank spawn to pick people off. BUG-ELIMINATOR15 -
18.09.24 / 20:09 If you weren't a piece of trash, you'd know that firing tv by map and correcting in flight is a basic thing. one2one69 -

hehe ..its a cover-version
the difference -a remix is a new interpretation of a song
eg bob marlery in a techno version, you change the whole rhythm and everything
a coverversion dont change the original in his originally style
in this case:
original - commercial dance-trance
new version - commercial dance-trance
the whole story in german here : http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coverversion
http://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coverversion
Die Coverversion ist stets eine „andere Umgestaltung“ im Sinne des § 23 UrhG,[1] selbst wenn sie originalgetreu nachgespielt wird. ...
Cover version = the above called "andere Umgestaltung" = after §23 UrhG not allowed without written permission of the copyright owner.
can u read ?
...ist kein Einverständnis des Urhebers vom Original erforderlich; die Anmeldung der wiedergegebenen Coverversion bei der Verwertungsgesellschaft genügt...

Problem here is: I put more trust in the law than in articles on Wikipedia.
Solely the fact that several parties can interpret the law differently should even let you see that it's always better if you acquire a written permission when using copyrighted material or rearranging it.
And by the way: I fairly doubt that the GEMA (if the original track is registered there) was informed about this 'cover version'.
But hey: it's not my money that is burned for lawyer, court, etc. if it comes to a lawsuit...
Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

If you RELEASE the song
( atm no one can buy it )
you just have to name the composers of the original in the credits and its all good
btw..i was working in the music business for a few years...if you have any more questions just ask
And to the whole remix-lawthingeling: Doesn't common sense tell you that it can't be legal to use someone others work just like that, without his/hers permission??!
10% luck, 20% skill, 15% concentrated power of will, 5% pleasure, 50% pain and a 100% reason to remember the name ;D
"So what if its a female gamer? You cant call it teabaggin... I now introduce the term "lipdip" for the fairer sexed gamers."
yes sounds logic anti
too bad law not logic
this shit was my daily bread a few years
now music industy make more money with cell phone sounds than with CDs / real music, thats why im outta there
COVER
is a new Version of a song
you can add new instruments and everything but DONT CHANGE in its ORIGINALLY style
you dont need permission for this, when you release the record you just tell GEMA( text and music by David Guetta/whatever)
and he will get his money at the end of the year with his GVL-payment
REMIX
is also complete new version of a song but
you CAN CHANGE the originally style / make something complete different
For THIS you have to ask the artist, and if he agree you have to PAY him about 5000 €(average amount, depending on artist ) BEFORE YOU RELEASE
Yes so basically you agree to Krupp and me: you had to pay either to the artist or to the GEMA, not paying to anyone is against german law...and COULD be prosecuted...
...for sure there will be a difference if you release it "for fun" or "for profit", still I doubt that you as a private person are allowed to release your remix on youtube without any permissions, imho it only is tolerated!

That's an insane amount of money. But this most be from case to case really. also depending on record company/Artist I beleive
yes sure depending on the popularity of the track you want to remix
AND
is important that the artist likes your remix, if not he gonna say burn this bullshit remix
and if he really like and he think your work is good for him
you maybe have to pay nothing
so much talking...here is a example for a remix like this
Whoever appeals to the law against his fellow man is either a fool or a coward. Whoever cannot take care of himself without that law is both. For a wounded man shall say to his assailant, "If I Die, You are forgiven. If I Live, I will kill you." Such is the Rule of Honor.
