I mean, at least you can play. Many of us are randomly blocked for no good reason.
Well here we have something political in this video thread, actually I woudl recommend creating an extra post for this because political stuff usually comes with people sharin their personal opinions on the seen topic....
Here is mine: Most of the news presented here are not really new to me, besides the quotes of the taken from the ESM. Surely something has to be done about the power the rating institutions, which are private american companies, have to be cut down. Personally I also think those agencies are pretty dumb, cuz they dont produce anything and they do live on pretty random statements about the financial market. Acutally they are nothing else than an outsourced opinion maker for american banks, but we all know that. Well else I also must say I will strongly disagree with a lot of the statements made in this video about the euro being so bad and comparing decisions made here with some made pre WWII. That is just ... welll... a little out of prportion to say it nicely. Even though this last sentence was a little polemic, I also think the makers of this video are playing with people's uncertainties as well...
And now to the ESM: Giving juridical immunity to members and the ESM itself does keep it safe from being outruled by members state, which enables them to skip its given rules, but I am sure this is not necessairy given the power of the EU itself. Moreover the right and the untouchableness of the ESM is very scarry and I think it is as we would say ingame totally overpowered ;-). There has to be something that is practically able to control the ESM and can also take on the ESM government in a conflict, since it is just an institution and cannot have eqal power to a parliament elected by the people politics is supposed to be for. So cuncluding I will agree that the ESM powers have to be cut to make it more controlable.
