The only reason they keeping it that way is the limitation, consoles cant handle more. You see the gap already now. Just look at novalogics games on the player amount.
I belive more players would not inhibit the design possibilities even for a battlefield game.
More players makes no sense on earning money as it is now with the technology.
Then we have thoose "oooh my god nades everywhere on karkand its a mess", doing parallels like more players is more "mess", EA is probably happy. Would be solved easily by the design.

Pure bullshit from what I've seen so far.
Hell, no one is interested in SP in Battlefield anyways and I'm still sick of the SP in BF3. They should invest the time in the MP part or - if they want scripted action then they can do more COOP-stuff (which is fun but bugged as hell in BF3).
Well...the social feature (upper right) seems annoying...imagine that in the MP...the guns and vehicles seem to be exact copies of BF3...the improved minimap still looks shitty to me...
oh and the dust...and the sun glare...ah goddammit, they're messing it again xD

Can only agree. It looks like a mod for bf3 srs I hope the MP is going through more changes. Ill try to get my hands on the bf4 beta which is kinda easy. Cancel my preoder if the game sucks which I am pretty sure it will!

I surelly won't be making same mistake with BF4 like with BF3...unless it's gonna be a REAL successor of BF2 and not just another BFBC mod,no more money from me..hell no.

Some bugs are still present in BF3 as they are in BF2 and we will most likely see that DICE keep forgetting/ignoring this b/c they must push for revenue instead of perfecting something that basically could be a good product.
BF3 stuff still failed are, Out of map glitching (Metro) Shooting someone with gun close to wall and hit solid air. Death by bad luck when walking in some places.
Fail to push PTFO oriented scoring instead of ranking/unlocking system. Ground vehicle physics actually suck big time amazingly the community has accepted this sad sad sad.
Spending 6-12 months tweaking weapons instead of hunting bugs and crashes tells us that they don't know what we want but also what they think they can get away with.....

I'm not sure they'll make as much money with BF4 as they did with BF3 since I'm not sure if the number of disappointed customers who are not going to buy BF4 can be compensated by the guys that came over from CoD...

We all are going to test the BETA and if its a good game or a real sequal to BF2 then they will make again that amount of money
one of the biggest mistakes i made, was spending my money on that piece of sh*t game called BF3, after playing almost all battlefield games, i always thought it will be MORE awesome next time.. it always was.. but then BF3 came out.. so for BF4: first gotta see it to believe it! ( or spend money )
