I see no difference here. Is it me or the bullshit EA is feeding to you?
I just don't get how people go instantly all weeeeeeee after couple lousy console ingame footage played by really bad players.

Who cares about the gaming style shown in trailers/footage?
It's the teamplay features (voip + commander mode) that have a (sadly enough: way too late) come-back...
And yet: no time to hurray yet - I'll wait for the release.

Do you guys think it's pretty? I don't. But it probably wont run on my computer anyway so I shouldn't care I just hope people will still play Battlefield 2 when 4 comes out.
Is Battlefield 2142 fun?

I think BF2 will playable for a longer time after release BF4 here. See BF3 we still play it

I haven't tried Battlefield 3 online. Only on console last year. It was not very fun.
As of now I only have two servers to choose from in Battlefield 2 and I'm getting banned all the time from the other one. They don't say why and I always play by the rules. So I don't wanna play on that server anymore. Because I think it's unfair.
So this is the only server I can play on. It's fine but it will close like all the others at some point and then you are forced to play another Battlefield game.
So maybe it's time to forget about Battlefield 2 and hope that you can get used to Battlefield 4. I didn't like Battlefield 2 either to begin with.
According to game-monitor. Battlefield 2142 is near death. So that's not an option. It's looks cool though. The robots are huge, but it doesn't look like it have laserweapons. So it's not exacly like Star Wars. But there are starships and stuff. Yada yada  Since no one likes the game.
I think I'm gonna save up and buy a new PC, so I'm prepared for Battlefield 4 in case Battlefield 2 shuts down.
Worst case is that Battlefield 4 is terrible. But in that case I would still have a fantastic new PC and I already have Far Cry 3 and Tomb Raider too. They don't work on this PC but they will on my new.
I've read that DICE will release a new Battlefield every year and I think that Battlefield 5 will be great.

nah bf2 will stay up for ever same for 1942 those games are just too awesome they cant die.

Hello guys.
I won't waste my money again for an EA game without enought informations... Last time I preordered BF3, played some hours then burned my BF3 DVDs in microwave oven...
Maybe I'll wait some weeks after release then ask René about the new game

BF3 has certain advantages and disadvantages front of all the teamplay to BF2. This is undisputed. But I do not imagine 1.5 years now and hate anything by EA / DICE comes to bending and breaking. (Some of these players find at the end, after they've gotten close quarters for free - it's not so bad!) I try to see some realistic and try to understand the other part of discussion and not blinded by hatred of all things what new.
And I love BF2 for old times and teamplay and love BF3 for other things not for nothing that I've played so many hours. And I hate BF2 for some bugs; some balancing settings vehicle<>Inf and some maps and I hate BF3 for some bugs; some balancing settings and no VOIP/teamplay.
Not least, the players in a multiplayer game decide if a game is fun or not. You and I see it every day
