The overwhelming number of cheaters and the lack of action against them makes people want to quit this game for good.

Hi

My pc wont start anymore, Im posting here if someone has any ideas. Reward is that movie I just put togheter before the crash!^^

Anything noteable changes before:
Was that my windows 7 was not genuine and just some days before I installed a crack to get rid of that registerwindow that would popup and I finally could have a picture on my desktop.
And my joystick (saitek) has a fabricationerror making it loose connection, potentially harmfull considering the repeatedly blinks and flashes it made while being on the floor! (thought my old computer worked long time with it...)

Part 1
Dear doctor.R, the first symptoms was random rearswitch in AH-1Z, which my backbutton (by the thumb ) on my relativly new mouse was bounded to. I thought it was virus! smiley

After some days the problem got worse, the rearbutton on the mouse makes the web browser go back. So the sites I where surfing where going backwards to even the first site I was on! Randomly and occasionally!

Things started to get even more bad like web browesers and programs got unresponsible, couldnt click on anything like x button.
Ctrl alt delete got the focus back, for a while.

(Right now I excluded the fact that things where clicking on by itself first days and opening up millions of things that where selected. Cause I realised that It was the peace of carbon I had under my mousepad that where getting bent over the right enterbutton!smiley )

I switched to my old mouse and I belive the rear button signal got away. But working with the computer was hard and things lost foucus all the time, where where I now again.. Yea I had to use the keyboard, cause things wouldnt always respond when clicking.
I got to the point where I finally had put toghether the old clips in sony vegas. Rendered 10 minuts clip that took an hour and audio where not in! Test rendered and audio would occasionally be in or not and sometimes distorted.

And somehow my internet where off, duno why, it have happend before like 1 or 2 times.

Part 2: The windows 7 reinstall
So I saved some stuff to the storagedisks and did a clean reinstall of windows 7.

Even at first screen at reinstall got unclickable (loose of selection) and I had to use keyboard.. Anyway got a new windows 7 (from the same usbstick I used before).

Same thing here, things where unresponsible. Couldnt click on startmeny or navigating on diskt without keyboard and the right bottom corner where also unaccesable (and didnt know any shortcuts).
And I think it got directly saying not genuine w7 and black desktop even before I put the internet cable in (cant recall it made it first time I installed I belive it came after some updates *not sure*.).
I installed some drivers for the motherboard (for the net) and also for my soundcard and videocard.

Things where behaving odd I could view pictures but not any songs (even though I installed windows mediplayer, if it did install). Trying to play a song I got like after a minut up a messagesbox saying service failed or something.
And I couldnt install sonyvegas, VLC and some other programs, no response even though using keyboard.

And when surfing trought the net windows was constantly whining about "no certificate" when I was on sites like google!
Trying to install plugin for youtube was hard, found a link that worked in the end and youtube worked fine.

At some point I installed the "how to fix windows 7 not genuine" to get a background, I did but there was sometimes a strange white box like a leftover/glitch on the right bottom corner of the desktop.
I failed to go into controlpanel and turning of firewall and uac etc too...

Part 3: The breakdown
I took the computer with my bare arms and throw it out of the window!

Haha, no not realy! ; ) I carried it to the gas station in my foam realy close to where I live. To blow the powersuply (oldest part) with compressed air. Didnt work too good with the mouthpiece for bikes. So I ended up blowing everything at home and unscreawing videocard, audiocard...

Trying to start it up and getting no picture at all.

So now I got the motherboard on the table with with only the processor, ram and videocard and monitor connected. Run by a new power supply.
I tried taking out the battrery/emptying the power.
1 ram at a time.
Resetting the processor and the cooler.
Tried an other old graphic card (that Im not sure 100% sure it works).
Bought a new powersupply since it been sucking air from the floor under some years now!

The motherboard seems to lighten up nice when starting. All fans on the components is spinning. But just a blackscreen, its kinda hard to make the frags when not seeing anything.smiley

Right now Im just going to put togheter my old motherboard, processor and ram. To exclude the monitor and graphic card to be the failing link. But any suggestions or ideas what can be gone wrong? I hope the text wherent to long or incoherent, but anyway its nice to have it written down, since Im already forgetting things! smiley

TLDR?; How can I make my computer start any thoughts?

if your fans are spinning and it powers on but you get no signal and you've tried another gpu then it's possibly the motherboard or cpu that's faulty

Yea nothing, no picture at all, black! I dont know if goes throught P.O.S.T ! I just hear the components start by fans, hm havent looked after the lights realy.

Okey one2one69 :/

Alright Reiska, hehe! To get back ingame I guesssmiley!
No it didnt work even with new psu, same as with old. I connected all the powercables Im kinda sure, the big one and small one to motherboard! Videocard, cpu fan and pump all got the cables.

I know its kinda confusing. The computer started to behave strange and then not working anymore after transport and cleaning. I wondered if anyone had a clue about what could cause the computer to behave odd and now also what could be broken cause Im kinda sure I set it up correctly..

Well, if the computer wasn't running properly my guess is that the motherboard is broken.

Okey thanks, yea, getting kinda expected answers!smiley

Yea motherboard. I was just speculating but couldnt the bios backupfile got corrupted. And you would need to flash it? I just surfed and got into this youtubelink http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iHkGkw9EE8c#t=40 , I just briefly looked but looks like he fixes hes blackscreen..
Else maby just measuring the voltage and order some japanese transistors if some needs to be replaced! Im on a budget!smiley
Havent seen anything yet by eye, besides the graphic card seems dark/wet on some areas. I bought it from a friend and its been that way all the time and worked so far. There shouldnt be a problem... But I will test it on my old system (and I was not sure the other videocard was 100% working)...

A list of your hardware would be helpfull in pinpointing your problems aswell...e.g. mobo manufacturer+model+version, which BIOS does it run etc..
-Do you hear ANY beep from motherboard upon starting..here's little help for you: BEEEEP
-Do you see ANY bubbled (blown) capacitor on your motherboard?
-Can you check your memory sticks on other (friend's) machine running Memtest86?..sometimes faulty memory modules produce similar problems..
-DOESyour HD spins up at all? (disregard this if you have SSD..smiley)

Additionally, here is little something that can save you a lot of trouble and your time (at least it did for me) : THIS

Nice guide milch1 (dont think my computer made any beeps ever but there should be some signals)! And thanks for the support. I had a phenom II x4, asus formula IV for motherboard, it had some nice features like ROG, where u could monitor ur system throught an other computer. And also easily accessible meassuringpoints. But I cant do that much now, so putting that on hold!
