If you got an older intel mobo/chipset(example: Asus Z68) running Win8/8.1, not want to upgrade yet, waiting for Win10/Z170 chipset etc, etc. You can still overclock the CPU using Intel® Extreme Tuning Utility (Intel® XTU) for playing CPU bottlenecked games like Arma3...

I only overclock my 2600K, the multiplyer & keep voltages at default, 38/3.8ghz to 46/4.6ghz.

(Warning: If you not know about overclocking, seek a Professional. Having a CMOS reset button at the back of the PC is very important if you want to push the overclocks...)
