Hi,
This threat is mostly adressed for the server admins / hp admins.
Wouldnt it be a good idea, to open an IRC - Chanel on the QuakeNet (or whatever for a server) for talking in realtime and not only on this forum?
Maybe ur interested.. or not.. whatever 
e.g.:
It would be easier to request an admin, because there is a cheater on the server.... or whatever.

we have teamspeak. i think voice realtime is better than any chat realtime.

hmm..but in general it's easier to idle in an IRC channel then in teamspeak, also some persons may not have the teamspeak client due to a lack of a microphone, IRC would be more easy...
BUT: the "Request an Admin" function should be enough for reporting... |

hmm..but in general it's easier to idle in an IRC channel then in teamspeak, also some persons may not have the teamspeak client due to a lack of a microphone, IRC would be more easy...
if its realy neccessary we also can setup a javachat. this is better than a IRC because its also realtime and need just a browser (IE/FF/etc..) without any additional plugins or a extra client.
whatever, in my personal opinion a forum, admin requester, shoutbox, pm system and teamspeak should be enough.

IRC is a hybrid solution. U have more then 2 possebilitys
1. You can use it with an extra client, which u have to install..
2 You can implement it on your Homepage, i think with java.
3. You can use it with ur handy....
.......... and so on ......... |

//with handy (german) he means mobile phone
LOL - and you then sit in front of your PC with BF2 running and start the wap/gprs/umts on your mobile phone to call/chat Clubrado
I think like Club, there are 5 possibilities to reach an admin [TS, Shoutbox, Request, Forum, PM] - one more would ne another unused function and more overkill...
But maybe you just want to have a little chat or something...then the IRC would be handy (although I wouldn't know what I should talk to you)... |
