just sharing a meme. this is what makes your server great. the no rules. sometimes i forget that i'm not on your server and attack the uncappable bases on other servers since i'm used to playing here most of the time.

As I see it, the whole point of an uncap flag is to prevent a team from getting knocked out.
This means letting them always have a chance for a comeback.
Allowing baseraping comes against this.
This is what the game designers wanted.
Else why didn't they just set all flags to be capturable ? |

I get what you're saying. I'm usually on the wrong end of it but I see it as a challenge trying to get out from being under siege once we're down to our last stand at the uncap. |

The sad thing, it's quite simple to have a real uncap.. just add that area as "out of map". No one can stay for more than 10 seconds + dying time... |

There was an old game back in the day I used to play in 2000 called Delta Force Land Warrior and when you respawned you had about 3 seconds where you wouldn't die if you were getting shot at. This was a cool feature because you wouldn't respawn and immediately die before you could react. Maybe if BF2 had done something like this it would have been helpful when you're getting base raped. But all in all I like the no rules and being able to attack the uncap. |
